Dns not updating from dhcp in windows 2016

This 12 session Master Class will equip you with everything you need to understand, evaluate, deploy and maintain environments that utilize Microsoft Azure including hybrid scenarios.

riginally posted this in 4/2006, and updated throughout the years, but I still get questions from time to time asking why updates are not working, especially PTR.I've been unsuccessful at finding a guide on how to integrate just ISC DHCP into an AD DNS environment. The configuration file is below, but what I've noted when using ISC DHCP is that non-domain joined clients will not have an A record registered for them in forward/reverse lookup zones.2.      Opened DHCP snap-in and from the available tree expand the server name.3.      From the expanded tree expand IPv4 and right click on the scope name.Taking this discussion to the next level, when DHCP server assigns a dynamic address to any computer (which might be different every time) it becomes a problem for DNS server administrators to maintain and update the records manually.
